Bookings are now open for our 2026 Winter Dinner Series. Back by popular demand, these cosy evenings return with twinkling lights, crackling fires, soul-warming seasonal dishes, mulled wine and a s'mores station to finish on a sweet note.

A Winter's Night at Kauri Bay

Pull up a chair to a long, candlelit table set against the coastal stillness of Kauri Bay. The Winter Dinner Series is a celebration of the season — a three-course shared menu of warming, generous dishes drawn from the Kauri Bay kitchen, with mulled wine on arrival and a s'mores station by the fire to finish.

Add an optional three-course wine match to lift the menu, or arrive a little earlier for our Pre-Dinner Extreme Hole in One Golf experience. However you spend the evening, expect unhurried hospitality, soft light and the kind of food that feels made for winter.

When and where is the dinner?

Is there a minimum booking size?

Yes. The minimum booking is 4 guests. Tables are shared style and seat up to 8 guests per table.

How many guests can I book online?

Up to 20 guests can be booked online. For groups larger than 20, please contact events@kauribay.co.nz and we'll arrange your booking directly.

Can dietary requirements be catered for?

You can note dietary requirements and allergies in the booking form. Kauri Bay will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary and allergy requests notified in advance, but please be aware that food is prepared in a kitchen where allergens may be present.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full payment is required to secure your booking. This is a ticketed open event and bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the event is cancelled by Kauri Bay.

What add-ons are available?

You can add 3 Course Wine Matching at $42 per guest, the Pre-Dinner Extreme Hole in One Golf Experience at $20 per guest, or the Pre-Dinner Extreme Hole in One Golf & Cocktail Experience at $38 per guest. Golf experiences are mutually exclusive; wine matching can be combined with either.

Can I bring a child?
